Episode 296: Demented Love Story

Rob has some major tech issues, but through the power of editing, you probably won't notice it too much (but you still will hear some weird moments because of it).  Brent plays music supervisor on an imagined independent romantic comedy-drama film.  And Gabe reveals the Legacy Music Player, a video game music player application which is available for Macintosh at www.legacymusicplayer.com.  Full track listing below.

  1. Making it Mac-only is truly hurtful.

  3. Are you going to make a Beyond 16-Bit Legacy Music Player? Ha! :) Would love an app for Android - and of course Windows.

I've been listening to the Orchestral Game Concert (Game Music Concert 3 - from 1993) recordings for almost 20 years, that when you first started playing Hanjuku Hero my first instinct was to say "illegal!" because I thought it was adapted from some classical music, then remembered that the Orchestral Game Concerts are adaptations themselves! This song is on number three and known as "Soft-Boiled Hero - Divertissement, the Fourth Movement"

    1. The Legacy Music Player does play some beyond stuff -Virtual Boy, Game Boy Color, and some later arcade. It also plays a bunch of computer stuff.
