  1. My fav segments of this are 1) tmnt tournament fighters, into rockman and forte into puyo puyo, and 2)gradius iii into sonic 2.

However the most grin-inducing moment is listening to f-zero in the car, and noticing myself driving a little bit faster. :-)

You guys have made more than one each of these, right? Any word on when we'll be hearing any of those?

  3. Happy birthday I spent like 3 hours on this for some reason, probably because it bothered me that there wasn't a proper full tracklisting for these hot jams. Sure, 3 years too late but fuck it, right?

    1. Thanks! A few corrections though:

Gradius III is actually Miki Higashino, Kazuki Muraoka (arr.), Kazuhiko Uehara (arr.), Harumi Ueko (arr.), Yukie Morimoto (arr.) (Higashino composed the arcade version and the others arranged it for the SNES port).

Castlevania is just Satoe Terashima (for Out of Time in particular (Kinuyo Yamashita did some of the other tracks in the game, and the Legacy Music Hour did an interview with Yamashita in Episode 36)).

Castlevania II is just Kenichi Matsubara (at least for Bloody Tears, it was just him).

Rockman and Forte is just Naoshi Mizuta (for Astro Man in particular. Note: This information has not yet been updated on the listing for Legacy Music Hour Episode 12, but will be eventually).

    2. Whoops! I tried to get the most accurate information I could, but ta for the corrections. With regards to the arrangers I wasn't sure what to do when all I could find was just an entire bundle of composers with no specific contribution, so I kinda just stuck em all in there for good measure.

As a partly related side note have y'all ever heard the MSX version of the Salamander/Life Force soundtrack? Because it's one hot beast: https://youtu.be/vHQ_Y2EcMQY?t=3m57s
