  1. Might be secretly up there with the funniest episodes you guys have done yet. And lots of good tracks. Nice work as always.

Though I do hear all those styles in the Demolition Man track, they also all could've easily been sections from a MASTER OF PUPPETS-era Metallica composition. And also, I do well remember "Trouble" by Shampoo, though I'd forgotten it was from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. The song I associate most closely with that movie would be "Sensurround," They Might Be Giants' original song for the film (and possibly their best post-1995 non-album track).

Metallica and They Might Be Giants in one comment. BAM.

Also, the maniacal soloing in Bill & Ted ... speaks for itself. And I would have never guessed the Pet Shop Boys would have scored the videogame version of Waterworld under the pseudonym "Dean Evans."

  2. The Jurassic Park track definitely borrows heavily from Comic Bakery for the Commodore 64, which predates it by 9 years, and in my opinion is the better track!

  3. It's really weird but I had a dream about legacy music hour last night...

in the dream you guys made a post on your blog about how the show was now just going to be a part of a larger show you guys were working on and would only be like 30 mins a week and there were going to be comedy bits and more talking and I was all disappointed.

    1. That's a weird dream. I had a dream that Rob and Brent were the spokesmen for KFC.

  4. Wait, can you even beat Mike Tyson in the first round? I never did that. I always thought for some reason that you can't knock him down in the first round.

Interesting thing about First Blood: Rambo never actually kills anybody, even though several people die.

I think Death Becomes Her would have made a decent video game. An NWA pinball machine would have been awesome too. Was there a Full House game? Surely there was.

The Bill and Ted game came out after or very near Bogus Journey, which Steve Vai did a lot of guitar for. Are the songs in the game variations of the different solo motifs he recorded for the movie? That sounded like a Steve Vai guitar solo.

  6. Such a funny episode I laughed a lot. I remember enjoying the other episode that went overboard with Full House too.
Was also funny that Death Race was mentioned as it is indeed a game. It appeared in the arcade in a very cool cabinet and as an unlicensed game on the NES.
