I really liked GI King! Sanbiki no Yosouya. Do you think that's the same game as G1 King! 3-Hitsu no Yosouya, as seen on GameFAQs: http://www.gamefaqs.com/gameboy/569597-g1-king-3-hitsu-no-yosouya
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's the game, but GameFAQs has the title a little wrong. The 3 is correct (three is "san" in Japanese), but the "hitsu" should be a "biki". At least, that's what the box and title screen say (also notice that the box/title screen don't use the numerical 3, but the word for three (san)).
Delete"Classic Road II: Real Kouma Simulation" - Reminded me tremendously of "Ogre Battle - March of the Black Queen" (one of my all time favorites)
ReplyDeleteSame composers!
DeleteAnother great show. Lots of Bass. Good luck with the live recording! Should be a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteOH God.. I completely lost it at the Pony Birthing.
ReplyDeleteOne of the funniest episodes yet. I don't know why but I was very moved by that Fish Got Away track. Such a somber and thoughtful little song. I love it
ReplyDeleteLast week, Michael had asked if there were any horse racing games that also had fishing in it. I know of one such game that has both. It was the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64. There were a couple of quests that involved racing a horse in order to win that horse to ride in the game and one where you had to catch different sizes of fish in order to win certain prizes including a Golden Scale. I know you guys don't play a whole lot of games beyond the 16-bit era but this is one of the must haves if you haven't played it already.
ReplyDeletethat contact high was definitely worth the one fifty i paid for it.
