Episode 206: Halloween (Live)

Recorded in September, Episode 206 was conducted live at the Bit Bar in Salem, Massachusetts, a town known for witches and Halloween related stuff.  And very organically, witches, Frankenstein, werewolves, clowns, and other monsters came up in conversation, not really because of being in Salem or October coming up the month after, but mostly related to talking about the music.  This wasn’t meant to be a Halloween episode, but it just accidentally worked out that way.  Also, treats (prizes) were given out to raffle ticket winners, and Rob and Brent even received some treats theirselves.  Plus, a couple VGM karaoke performances.  Thanks to Max Clark and Bit Bar Salem for making it all happen.  Note: You can click the photo to see it bigger.  Full track listing below.

    Haha, hearing myself sing is so embarrassing. This was a great time! I hope you guys weren't too encumbered by my strange assortment of gifts. It was amazing meeting so many cool, down to earth Users. And Rob(had met Brent once before prior to this event)!

    "Monster" Max(-i pad), who set the whole shebang up, has been a buddy of mine for a few years and I had no idea he was a fan of LMH as well. Very cool! Also very cool meeting KeyGlyph and learning that she resides 1 town away from the town where I grew up! Small world. VGM world? Even smaller.

    This group picture! I can't get over it. Perfectly captures the vibe of that morning. Just look at all those smiling user faces.

    3. I feel very fortunate that after hearing a bunch of crazy news this morning, that the VGM Karaokes were the last things I heard before I had to really get my day going. There is good in the world, and it's worth podcasting.
