Wondered if anybody else noticed that Motoko-chan no Wonder Kitchen track really sounded similar to the ending credits music to MST3k.
ReplyDeleteI hear what you're saying. That synthesized trombone(?) has the exact same tone as the one from the MST3K track.
DeleteThe remembering of the Coca Cola game in the Capcom episode reminded me of a real missed opportunity in this episode: the Cool Spot game, where the main character is the "cool spot" character from 7up commercials.
ReplyDeleteCool Spot was a great game to boot!
Also, I don't know if it counts but Bubsy was a Sega Genesis game that had an add for a Thanksgiving special cartoon of the Bubsy character they were trying to make into a series. I don't know if the TV show idea or the game came first. Also a good game.
We didn't forget Cool Spot, we just didn't play anything from it. Same with Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City.

DeleteThat Wonder Kitchen track reminds me of some music from EarthBound. I wonder if it may have been composed by either Keiichi Suzuki or Hirokazu Tanakak, the two composers on EarthBound.
ReplyDeleteWould it be possible to post timestamps in the episode for each track? Makes it easier to find a specific track while it's playing. Thanks!
