Heh, thanks for the double nod this week, Brent. If I can get two in per installment, maybe I'll have some hope of ever catching up to USER: Darren Deluxe and Slick Vick (who I think kidnapped Ryan's girlfriend in River City)
ReplyDeleteI just flew into the comments section to post this comment and boy is my Joust flap button worn out.

I turned 40 today. Lo and behold, a new episode of LMH! Best present ever!
ReplyDeleteWhy won't they ever make an online version of Zelda? Because the Link was broken!
What company makes the best games about sleeping? Irem(eye R.E.M.)!
Happy birthday!
Deletewoo! thank you for playing my karaoke track. glad you liked it! maybe some of the users who play Ys games can decipher the deepest meaning of the track. also just so it's out there, ysy-y's backup singers and dancers roll deep and are very well taken care of, MC Hammer style.
ReplyDeleteNoice Jorb! I was smiling the whole time.
DeleteI don't know if this is the deepest meaning of the track, but I know in Y's book 1 and 2, your means of attack consists of aligning your character correctly bumping into the enemy, hopefully with just your sword.
DeleteKudos for taking care of your entourage with Pumps and a Bump! (oh, and thanks for the well wishes, HAJ! May you live to Pokeskate again)
yes! that's it exactly. you gotta be down to bump if you want play Ys 1 or 2. There's one line about how you can bump from the side, or the front if you line it up just right.
DeleteThe karaoke track has a very Magnetic Fields vibe. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhere does Dracula get blood drawn from? His Castle-vein-ia.
Boy are my Pilot Wings tired...
amazing. on the show brent mentioned morrissey but I was for real channeling stephin merrit
DeleteI would like to bump Angela Lansbury. @ Nathan happy b-day.
ReplyDeleteOh my God thank you guys so much I've been looking for that Jim power song for so long! I had the Gens rom the but my ROMs got corrupted years ago... Forgotten in time along with that stupid title of the game.
ReplyDeleteWith all the Angela Lansbury talk, you guys may want to check out "A Virtual Murder" from season 10 of Murder, She Wrote, in which Jessica Fletcher works as scriptwriter and QA lead for a virtual reality video game called "A Killing at Hasting's Rock." Sadly, the game's soundtrack isn't memorable, but the episode itself is great.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode. I've got a couple of album recommendations for Brent and all of the users. One is smooth, a little funky, and kinda elevator-y. It's called "First Light" by Makoto Matsushita. The other one is a very relaxing jazz album called "Wings" by Yoshio "Chin" Suzuki. Hope you all enjoy them. I salute you.
