LMH Mixtape #48: Keith Apicary and Nathan Barnatt

Dear Users, do you remember your first LMH episode?  KeyGlyph does.  It was Episode 48!  Keith Apicary and Nathan Barnatt both visited the headquarters way back when, and they each brought a list of games; from those games the boizz compiled a decidedly Sega-heavy setlist of tunes, which you can now listen to in mixtape form, several years later, as compiled by KeyGlyph.  In some weird kind of way it's like things have just come around full circle.  Try to fight off the motion sickness, and enjoy!

KEYGLYPH'S AWARDS & COMMENDATIONS, JUST BECAUSE

Instant new favorite: Road Rash - Sierra Navada
Other instant new favorite: Flashback: The Quest for Identity - Ending Theme
Brewed new favorite: Solar Striker - Ending

Blatant Favoritism Award: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Angel Island Zone Act 1

Episode 100: Free Play 10 (Live)

Brent and Rob celebrate the 100th episode of The Legacy Music Hour video game music podcast with a special live recording.  It's basically just another free play episode, but with coconut cake, orange juice, vegan peanut-butter cookies, and a small audience in attendance.  Kind of like a listening party.  Guests include Nathan Barnatt, Pablo Bert, Jacob Sirof, and Kevin Shea.  Plus, VGM Karaoke.  Special thanks to Katie for dealing with the tech stuff.  Also, thanks to the NerdMelt Theater.  And, thanks to Lindsay for the cookies.  One more, thanks to Amoeba Music for sponsoring the prize (what prize? you'll see).  Note: Unfortunately, the photo isn't an exact representation of who was there, as some people had left by the time the picture was taken.  Full track listing below.

Episode 48: Keith Apicary and Nathan Barnatt

Episode 48 is almost like two episodes in one, lengthwise and content-wise.  The Legacy Music Hour welcomes retro video game expert and star of the ongoing documentary Talking Classics, Keith Apicary.  Then, Brent and Rob welcome a second guest, sketch comedian and actor, Nathan Barnatt.  In preparation for the recording, Keith and Nathan sent Brent and Rob a list of games to choose music from, so Keith and Nathan not only act as guest commentators, but also act as guest game curators.  Full track listing and Keith/Nathan links below.
