Episode 46: Role-Playing Games

Finally, a Legacy Music Hour episode dedicated to RPGs, and decidedly, Brent and Rob stay clear of Nobuo Uematsu and only cover one Square game in order leave room for lesser known composers and role-playing titles.  Brent and Rob also talk about magic tricks, blowing cartridges, and give the listeners a custom audio greeting card to send to friends!  NOTE: That's a real rabbit in Rob's hat.  Also, Rob be looking swole.  Full track listing below.

    @Z_MET We're gonna be doing a Koichi Sugiyama focus in a few episodes, so there'll be plenty of Dragon Quest stuff coming soon. Stay tuned!

    Wow...that Tales of Phantasia track really took me to another place. What an absolutely haunting and beautiful song. Tracks like this are why I love listening to this show, finding amazing music I would never hear otherwise. I'm so glad you played that, Rob. My favorite song choice of yours from the start of the show until this episode, bar none.

    As a hilarious contrast though, I think the Might and Magic track you played here might be the worst song in my opinion that you've played on the show from this episode and earlier, haha. I just don't think the Genesis has the capacity to make music that complicated sound good at all...the track is a train wreck to the ears for me, lmao.
