another classic episode. Sad I missed the live show, but glad I just saw Brent at Meltdown, phenomenal show Brent!
ReplyDeleteTiny Toons Adventures has the most fun underwater stage I can think of. And the music is the best,
ReplyDeleteI just recently beat Tiny Toon Adventures, so it's all fresh in my mind. At the beginning of each stage, Shirley The Loon prompts Buster Bunny to choose a sidekick for the upcoming level. The water level is 2-2. At the beginning of 2, she recommends you choose Plucky Duck. You begin the first stage of each level as Buster Bunny, then you get a giant ball with a star on it that changes you into your partner, which happens on 2-1. Then you become Plucky and go to 2-2 which is swimming. The only good swimmer is Plucky, but each playable character has a special attribute that makes them ideal for some stages but not for others.
ReplyDeleteYes ecco ii!!! It was developed by novotrade a Hungarian company not Swedish. All those composers are Hungarian I believe.
ReplyDeleteSO glad to finally hear some Kirby on this podcast. It's severely underrepresented, at least in the episodes leading up to this one. Hoping I'll hear more as I continue through the archive! Kirby's Adventure specifically is one of my all-time favorite video game soundtracks.
ReplyDeleteAlso, in an odd twist of fate like Michael above had recently beaten Tiny Toon Adventures before he listened to this episode, I too just recently beat that game. Very strange coincidence!
