  1. Nothing says Ice and Snow to me like the Winters track from Earthbound. You guys already played one from the Winters level I believe. The main track has sleigh bells!

By the by, I texted you guys about the Illusion of Gaia soundtrack. You must have really hated it huh?

  2. No we don't hate it! Hopefully, we can play a track or two on an upcoming episode!

  3. Just discovering the podcast tonight, with this one being my first episode. Really enjoying it! I was really young when the NES was at its peak, and while I remember all of the games I used to play and much of the music, I wasn't equipped to appreciate the fine tunes many of them featured. But as I got older, VGM came to be the most memorable aspect of many of the games I played. There's nothing like a good game soundtrack, and so many of them have inspired me in immeasurable ways. I like to think you guys are ushering inspiration to a new generation of kids. Well, done!

Btw, a guy I know and I really enjoy making covers of classic VGM (separately, not in collaboration). Here's an episode-appropriate one he did of "Ice Cap Zone". He killed it. :D

  4. Dudes, do yourself a favor and play the NES version of Snow Bros Nick & Tom right now - you'll beat it in 20 minutes, but the music alone is worth it.

  5. "I owe everything I ever do to BRIAN WILSON" that part had me cracking up guys. Good episode. Love the Donkey Kong tracks

  6. I was so hoping to see/hear the "Winters" tune from Earthbound on this episode. One of my favorite 16-bit tracks!

  7. The song you heard in Austria is called POPCORN
