Episode 82: Puzzle Games 2

Brent and Rob have some "fun in the sun" on Episode 82 as they revisit a hot topic they covered back in Episode 17: Puzzle Games.  NOTE: Rob accidentally played a track he had already played on a past episode (in fact, the last Puzzle Games episode), so that track and portion of the show was edited out, making it seem as though Brent went twice in a row.  Full track listing below.

  1. Great episode. I think for some reason puzzle games tend to have great soundtracks. Maybe because the action is low there is more attention paid to it?

This is a favorite of mine, it's so random

  2. As usual, great music! My favorite puzzle game song that you haven't played comes from Tetris Blast. The soundtrack is only decent, but one song is totally groovin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHQxXQSgaMA

  3. Hello, only recently found out about the podcast, steadily working my way through the episodes, and thoroughly enjoying them!

I remember fondly the music from Puzznic on the C64, so I was enjoying the Gameboy version you played on this podcast. That is, until about 12 seconds in when the music does something abrupt and jarring that my mind struggles to come to terms with, being so familiar with the C64 version.

It almost sounds to me like the Gameboy versions is broken, or skips a part.

I present the C64 version, in case you ever find the time to investigate.
