  1. My band was unsure whether to practice our same material or try to work on something new. After hearing the original: The Old West episode I was overcome by the theme. I brought ponchos(quilts with holes cut out of them), waterskins, cowboy boots and western attitude. We improvised only old West themes for that night. I used some of the progressions from the tunes you had played and as a result had recorded some great jams which we later fine tuned into songs. I owe my inspiration to you guys and this great music.

    This is awesome. Thank you.

  2. There's a story for the Lucky Luke soundtrack, and the credits track in particular. It was a very hard game to score because I didn't feel inspired in those days and couldn't spend much time on it.

Then it was the last day before the deadline and I still had to finish programming some tracks and compose the credits theme. I didn't go home that night. Then it hit me at 7:00 in the morning, and came out straight all in one piece! One of my favorite tracks.

    2. Mr. González, I feel very privileged to know this awesome story. Thank you so much for sharing it!

I'm also extremely glad that, all these years later, you're getting the closure and vindication of knowing that a piece of work you struggled with is absolutely beloved by a bunch of fans. I know a lot of us find ourselves wondering whether video game composers like you can know how much your work has meant to us. I'm thrilled whenever we find out that somehow our appreciation has reached you.
