I fully agree that Zimmer and any atmospheric/non-melodic stuff is useless music. Melody is what makes music unique in most cases, and it's the rarest skill among musicians

It's very cheesy and melodic and I think you'll laugh and maybe even quite like it. It's in that overblown 80s style of theme tunes like Gladiators, Thundercats, Transformers, etc.
If only he's kept this style going with his film scores...
