  5. Thank you for putting this out! It's excellent. At the risk of sounding greedy, hope you release more for other episodes of Legacy Music Hour! Going on a jog later and will totally listen to this.

  8. It's great to finally see something get released after so long.

The sound quality on this mixtape is excellent. It must have been re-recorded.

    1. The music actually is re-recorded, by KeyGlyph, and it loops twice (in general) as opposed to the general one loop on the original episode.

    2. How about the later episodes that were taken from off of Youtube and CD soundtracks?

    3. In those cases, or in cases when KeyGlyph can't get a hold of the music, the tracks will probably be taken from the original episode.

    4. I'm so glad to hear positive comments about the sound quality; I didn't want to let anybody down. Thank you for that!

It's true that the mixtape tunes have been recaptured, with most being fresh .wav exports of the source files (.vgm, .nsf, etc.), but in a few cases I've already had to get creative and find clean, quality YouTube rips.

And hey, if user Ed (LMHead Ed, I believe?) is out there, maybe he'll bail me out when we get deeper into the arcade stuff. He was the major supplier for LMH in that department, if I remember correctly!

    5. That all sounds great! Looking forward to the next episode. Weekly would be good.

I wonder if LMHead Ed is Ed on the Pixeltunes Radio podcast?

    1. BTW. The drums on the Road Rash title track would win in a fight against any of the drums in the other tracks.

  13. Great to see a mixtapes project startup! The sound quality was great, keep it up keyglyph. *Sends virtual fist bump to keyglyph*

Listening to this put me in the mood to re-listen to the show archives, and make comments as I go along, as Brent suggested.

When the show ended, it affected me more than I thought it would. I felt pretty blue for a few days, and very seriously considered starting my own VGM podcast. After a week of contemplation, I admitted that I am simply to busy being a father to think of doing it right now (And I started listening to VGMpire, which really helped me feel much lazier towards the idea).

  14. Thank you so much for doing this. I've learned a lot about video game music from the podcast, but these mixtapes are great just to listen to the tunes.
