The Legacy Music Hour presents Rob F. Switch's third installment of continuous dance party music comprised of only 8-bit and 16-bit era video game music. No remixes, no covers, no adaptations of non-video game music -just pure, original, dancy music from the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis!

Yeaah, dance mix! This was fabulous. Thank you, Rob!
ReplyDeleteI think I listened to that Metal Masters track a million times after you guys played it on the podcast. Soooo good.
I also got way into the second-to-last track at 26:13, but I can't place what it is! I second the tracklist request. :)
Glad you liked it keyglyph! Track list is on the way!

I can't say I'm not happy about the selection of tracks in this mix tape. Thanks Rob! :)
ReplyDeleteI just uploaded the stereo version of Metal Masters to my SoundCloud, in case you fancy listening to it. Actually I tried hard to give the track some stereo depth (specially in the intro) which is totally lost in the mono version. Check it on headphones! Also, I've written some comments about the composition and the game itself, and in the comments there's a link to a previous prototype track never released.

ReplyDeleteIt FINALLY came to me. It's from Wolfchild. Stage 1: Wolfship.
DeleteBeen rocking out to it for a significant portion of the day after nailing it down. Hope you do too, if you still read the comments this far back!
Oh, man - *thank you* for this, keyglyph! This entire mix has been on repeat for a while. Wolfchild will be a nice addition to the rotation.
